Notice the title is “writing down your goal” ..not goals, as in plural. I’m learning that when we make too many goals for ourselves, its difficult to accomplish any of them, because our energy cannot focus on too many things at once. Believe it or not, it takes energy from our brain to handle stress and accomplish everyday tasks. For this reason, if you find you are stressed out lately, make a list of things you want to do in the next few weeks or months. But limit yourself to only ONE of them until you achieve it. Put all your energy into your goal and you are more likely to accomplish the goal and move onto the next one, feeling AWESOME! 🙂

By the way, I decided that when my 21-day cleanse is over (which will be March 18th), I am celebrating with a Mexican Fiesta! Margaritas, chips & salsa, and a yummy bean burrito or something. All vegan still, but clearly not raw! A healthy girl can still celebrate once in a while ;].
And this was today’s lunch: A BIG salad with a ton of veggies. I wasn’t too hungry for lunch but a big salad always hits the spot for me.
And Dinner was!: lightly sautéed (in water) broccoli, mushrooms, and some red kidney beans plus garlic & onion powder:
Then I was feeling creative, so I made my own ice cream! Banana-Chocolate flavor:]
Frozen banana, almond milk, carob powder, Maca powder, and vanilla. Then topped with crushed chocolate chips! All vegan :] I think this ice cream would be wonderful topped over a vegan chocolate chip cookie or chocolate cake. Or maybe just mixed with sliced strawberries. I also think mint extract would be delicious instead of vanilla. I’ll have to experiment again.

On September 27 I took a body age fitness test at my university’s gym. My body age was calculated to be 20 (I am 23 years old). I was happy with those results, but I wanted better! So about two months later with hard work, I went back (yesterday, December 4th) and had another body age test done… this time I was body age 18!!! Sticking to goals is good for the soul. Feeling really good :]. I also never updated about that two hour run I did on Sunday. It was my first two hour run ever. Although my body could tell it was the first time, I think it also knows it will not be the last!
